Droitwich Spa Reserves 3 Himley Athletic Reserves 1
DROITWICH comfortably overcame Himley in the Midland Combination Division Three on Saturday.
In a one sided match Spa were always in control against the bottom side.
Rob Bell claimed his tenth goal of the season when his cross deflected off a Himley defender for the opening goal.
Man of the match Alex Kolb rammed home Droitwich's superiority when he pounced on a goalmouth scramble to double Spa's advantage.
Droitwich were carving out numerous chances, but captain Chris Everett missed several chances to add a third goal.
Arron Par though finished off Himley with a neat finish.
Despite Droitwich conceding a goal late on they never looked like losing the game.
Victory ensured Spa retained their place in mid-table.
