I WAS please to read of the new initiative of agencies working together to process information for benefits.
Several months ago myself and the chairs of Wyre Forest and Evesham Older Peoples Forums met with the Minister for Pensions, Malcom Wickes, and the possible 'new initiative' was one of the things we discussed with him. It was even suggested that the 'one stop shops' would be a good place for people to go to get information.
It is really pleasing to know that the Minister listened to us and it is now happening. Older Peoples Forums are making a difference.
