A PAIR of businesswomen have decided to launch their own series of networking events in the Redditch area.

Dawn Ryder, of Ryder HR Solutions, has joined forces with Linsey Ellis, from Butterfly Designs, to form Dynamic Connections, which holds its first networking event on Monday, March 7.

They are hoping to attract as many diverse interests as possible.

Mrs Ryder said: "I launched Ryder HR Solutions at the beginning of the year, offering human resources advice to small and medium-sized enterprises but at the time, I was very surprised by the minimal support available for people starting their own business.

"Networking is an essential part of any business and there is a huge gap in the marketplace for businesses to get together, raise their profiles, gain or swap knowledge and more importantly, increase business opportunities.

"Dynamic Connections provides a marketplace to network with other business professionals. Most business comes from referrals, recommendations and introductions.

"It's a chance to meet like-minded professionals and promote your business."

Each 'speed networking event' will be held monthly and cost £12.50 per person. The first is on Monday, March 7, at Webheath Village Hall, on Heathfield Road, at 5.30pm and includes refreshments.
