MONEY-spinning bank staff raised stacks of cash when they held a raffle in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Staff at Lloyds TSB in Victoria Square, who have chosen the organisation as their charity of the year, were overwhelmed by the prizes offered by Spa companies. More than £500 was raised and deputy mayor Richard Morris was on hand to draw the winning tickets. Chris Throssell, the bank's Worcester group charities co-ordinator, said: "We were so touched by the generosity of Droitwich businesses. We plan to do lots more fundraising."
