THE Harkaway Club's point-to-point meeting at Chaddesley Corbett fell victim to the weather two weeks ago but has been re-scheduled for this Saturday, 26th February.
Tenbury Wells trainer Nick Shutts was pleased with Foly Pleasants win at Weston Park, but he has subsequently suffered defeat in a Bangor Hunter Chase and victory in the Men's Open would appear to provide the perfect stepping stone as he makes his way towards Cheltenham in mid-March.
Meanwhile, Shropshire jockey Richard Burton has a good record over this course and could team up with Minella Silver and they will make Foly Pleasant pull out all the stops.
Snowtre from Helen Needham's Kidderminster yard will benefit from his recent run, but may struggle in this company, while Step on Eyre, Clonshire Paddy, Katarino and Longville Lad cannot be left out of calculations.
Jimmy Jumbo has won two races this season and will be strongly fancied to take the Ladies but may face an uphill struggle against Campden Kitty, Lava, Leaburn, last years winner Pacon and the Marilyn Scudamore, wife of Peter, trained Phoenix Phlyer.
Runners at the popular roadside course are set to face the starter for the first race at 11.30am.
