A REDDITCH charity is pleading for organisations to get in touch - because it has no good cause to donate its hard-earned cash to.
Redditch Big Hearts has raised more than £50,000 since it started in 1986 and recently moved base to Rocklands Social Club in Headless Cross.
A group spokesman said: "We're all very excited about the move and the response so far has been fantastic.
"The last five years at The Eagle pub were great. The management and customers were very supportive but we felt we needed to move to a bigger site."
As no worthy organisation has been nominated for this year's fund-raising, the committee fears it will have to pick one and does not want to do that.
The only criteria for nomination is that the charity must be in the Redditch or Bromsgrove area and not receive any Government cash.
Anyone who would like to be considered should send details to Redditch Big Hearts, c/o Rocklands Social Club, Rookery Close, Headless Cross. The deadline for applications is March 1.
Several plans are being formalised for fund-raising activities this year, including a quiz to be held on the last Thursday of every month.
