A HEADLESS Cross dancing group did more than toe the line when they won a prestigious line dancing competition.
Members of Bootleggers line dancing club, who practise at the Rocklands Social Club, travelled to Brean Sands to join 1,000 others in the European Line Dancing Championships.
In addition to winning a number of individual prizes, an eight-strong group of Bootleggers dancers came away with first prize.
Bootleggers teacher Richard Williams said the group had competed a number of times but this was the first year they had been successful.
He said: "In the past we've always been the bridesmaid but never the bride. To say this was an emotional experience is an understatement - we were all so thrilled."
He added: "They have all put in so much effort and they deserved to win."
