KEEN choristers are all set to pack into a crammed church for a Come and Sing event to support Save the Children.
The Silurian Consort, a Tewkesbury based choir, is inviting members of the public to join them at St Martin's Church, London Road, Worcester, for the big sing-a-long.
The choir will be singing Handel's Messiah.
"It's a great pleasure staging these events alongside our regular concert series," said Diana Walkley, chairman of The Silurian Consort. "They're a wonderful way of getting people together to enjoy their music-making while raising money for charity. We hope to get as many people along as we can fit in the church."
The performance involves one rehearsal in the afternoon at 2pm before the concert begins at 7pm this coming Saturday.
Tickets are £6 to either sing or just listen and are available on the door. All the money raised will go towards helping some of the world's most vulnerable children.
