TWO world premieres of new works are lined up for the Other Place.
Solstice is written and directed by Zinnie Harris, who presented her play, Midwinter, at last year's RSC New Works Festival.
A prequel to Midwinter, it is about a family coming into conflict when forced to resettle in an oppressive state. It examines the themes of faith and terror 'in a world slipping out of control'.
It beings at the end of March while at the end of April, The American Pilot, by David Gray, explores 'the way the world sees America and the way America sees the world'.
A spy plane crashes in a remote area in a distant country.
The villagers take in the wounded pilot - but what should they do with him?
