LIVING on Stagborough Way, Stourport, I see people on Tuesdays putting out their bins for the recycling of their bottles, waste paper and plastic.
It is grand to know that each ton we save helps the world's resources. It also helps Wyre Forest District Council because it costs money per ton ton to bury it.
I was pleased to think of them selling the paper, the glass and the plastic, so we would have less to pay on our Council Tax.
Alas, I am told on good authority that it is all given to a private company free. Can anybody tell me any different?
