HARTLEBURY'S new priest-in-charge has taken up his duties.
The Rev Andrew White was licensed on February 6.
His new post includes being chaplain to the Bishop of Worcester, the Rt Rev Dr Peter Selby.
Mr White, 39, was previously with the Droitwich Spa Team Ministry.
He was originally from London and trained in fine art there. Following training for ordination, he was ordained deacon in 1994 and priest the year after.
Mr White served curacies in Croydon and Wimbledon before moving to Droitwich.
His interests include art, especially painting, cooking and walking.
He has succeeded the Rev Capt Peter Worrall at Hartlebury.
