The Upton branch of the Arthritis Research Campaign celebrated 21 years of fundraising with a coffee morning last Saturday.
Mayor Mark Kerrigan presented 11 people with certificates for 21 years' membership and seven with 10-year certificates.
Branch secretary Joan Bullock said: "It was a very successful morning and it was lovely to see people get their certificates."
The branch was set up by the late Ken Lomas in 1984. It currently has 50 members, who raise money for the charity.
