THE people of Malvern want a new hospital at Seaford Court. Malvern Town Council, Malvern Hills District Council and MP Sir Michael Spicer all want it as well.
We are entitled to have the same level of health provision that other local towns receive. It is our right and we have put up with 25 years of delay.
The PCT are trying to smother us with bureaucracy. Who in their right mind ever thought that the Pickersleigh Road site was a practical option in any way?
Mr Ridley says that after costing the PCT could perhaps "benefit from the residual land at Seaford Court". Sorry, I thought this was a care trust not some high street store or property development scheme.
Worry about your sums later Mr Ridley and the PCT. Malvern wants, and needs a new hospital, it is our right and we want it NOW!
IAN FEARNSIDE, Court Road, Malvern.
