I absolutely agree with Mr Bill Layland (Your Letters, February 11) about using Seaford Court for the new hospital.
Seaford Court is a beautiful period house and a part of Malvern heritage. Malvern is known for its Victorian period buildings, why was Seaford Court left to fall down in such a shameful way?
Malvern District Council should draw attention to Malvern heritage, Malvern is a Victorian town and the town should reconsider demolishing period buildings to introduce modern and discreditable buildings!
I also feel Roman Way would be the most ideal place to build the new hospital, it would be traffic free and would relate with the rest of the new buildings on Roman Way.
Seaford Court is surely not large enough for the hospital Malvern is in need of. Will there be a helicopter pad for the air ambulance? Enough parking?
As anyone driven down past Seaford Court around school pick- up time, the traffic is everywhere.
I am a great fan of 'Malvern Remembers' on the internet, eventually this dedicated website to Malvern will be the only remembrance of Victorian Malvern.
