AN Elgar Choral Day on Saturday, March 5, from 10.30am to 6pm at the Elgar Birthplace Museum, Lower Broadheath, would welcome all singers with some choral experience to study and sing Elgar's first oratorio The Light of Life.
Dr Donald Hunt, conductor of the centenary performance of this piece at the Three Choirs Festival in 1996, will lead the day, giving singers the opportunity to enjoy the tuition and the buffet lunch and tea.
Copies of The Light of Life can be borrowed on the day or purchased from the museum shop in advance.
