Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which involved three adults and a teenage girl near the Bull Ring Chippy, in St John's, between 5pm and 5.15pm on Saturday, February 19.
"We would like to hear from anyone who saw, or heard, what is believed to be a heated argument, probably involving some pushing and shoving, that began near the chip shop and may have continued in Bromyard Road and Comer Road," said a police spokesman.
