HENRIETTA Woods, wife of former Bishop of Worcester Robin Woods, has died aged 88.
Mrs Woods, who came from Kidderminster, was a keen beekeeper, an archery enthusiast, and active in the Mothers' Union. She died after a long illness on Tuesday, February 8.
Her daughter, the Rev Rachel Benson, led the funeral in Birmingham, on Tuesday, February 15.
After their marriage, the couple had taken up posts in Singapore, Sheffield, and Windsor.
"She had a lively sense of humour and Robin and Henrietta were devoted to each other," said former Archdeacon of Dudley John Gathercole at the funeral.
Mrs Woods is survived by five children and 16 grandchildren.
