PERSHORE Town's Andy Hodgetts bagged a hat-trick as they continued their sterling fight against relegation.
Town hammered Continental Star 4-0 with Hodgetts passing the 20-goal mark for the season and Matt Irons also scoring with a header.
They are now 17th and four points away from Star.
Meanwhile, Droitwich Spa ended their run of three games without a win by shocking Division Two outfit Birmingham University 3-0.
Spa's high tempo attacking first-half set the platform for their best performance of the season.
Droitwich took the lead on 20 minutes when Richie Maguire's outswinging corner was headed in by Andy Keenahan.
Maguire was again the provider five minutes later, putting through Darren Charles who slotted the ball past the advancing 'keeper.
And Magurie was involved in the final goal seconds before the half-time whistle when Greg Cooper reacted quickest to poke in a parried free-kick.
Archdales '73 fell to their first home defeat of the season against third-placed West Midlands Police 3-2 but did not lose ground at the top due to Birmingham's loss.
Leading scorer Darren Tafft opened the scoring with a 30-yard strike into an empty net after 'keeper Peter Atkins cleared poorly.
West Midlands Police equalised with a break-away goal from a Dales corner as Dean Clegg out-paced the defence to beat 'keeper Dean Smith.
Clegg added a second with a fine volley on the stroke of half-time to give the Police a 2-1 lead.
And he completed a fine hat-trick with a penalty after a bad tackle by Phil Stoddart.
Dales controlled the rest of the game but found centre-half Craig Jenkins in outstanding form.
Jason Beck scored a free-kick with a screaming 25-yarder but, despite all the pressure, Dales could not find an equaliser.
Tafft came closest with a shot which rocketed across the goal-line but just missed the post.
