n RESISTANCE is futile - it's democracy, but not as we know it.
On the day of a recent vote in the EU Parliament on the Constitution, a number of people, including a female UKIP MEP's Political Adviser, were assaulted for peacefully holding up signs saying "No" in several languages.
She was punched, knocked to the floor and arrested, and later exhibited 22 bruises. No one holding a "yes" sign (these included banners unfurled to a trumpet salute) was touched.
The message is clear. Oppose us at your peril. In the UK we have always taken for granted our right to be able to speak our minds about perceived injustice, political differences, even just about things we don't like or don't agree with. That right could very soon be lost forever.
The day that even peaceful campaigning against the undemocratic EU system of government will become a crime draws ever closer. We must withdraw from the EU while we still can.
