A SUPPLIER of pollution monitoring equipment has set up a company in Poland with help from the Chamber of Commerce, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Andel Ltd is finalising registration of the company and is starting to sell its products there.
Managing director Ian Pogson first visited Poland with a Chamber of Commerce Trade Mission in November 2003.
There, Mr Pogson received a list of contacts in the area from the British Embassy in Warsaw.
Over the next few years, he continued to visit the country and build up contacts and has now decided to go ahead with setting up an office in Krakow.
"It is very satisfying when a client has such success setting up overseas," said Eric Brown, director of international trade at the Chamber.
"We have very strong links with Poland and can facilitate business there for companies with the right products and attitude to trading there."
For more information about trading in Europe contact Mr Brown at the Chamber on 0845 4508652.
