CAMPAIGNERS who fought a bitter battle to save Droitwich Lido have vowed to fight on until the bulldozers move in.
Following the decision of Wychavon District Council to demolish the Lido and incorporate the site into the surrounding park SALT - Save a Lido Today - said it would continue its campaign to save and reopen the historic salt water pool and the art deco style building.
Action
SALT said it had already identified several possible courses of action and it would be pursuing those in the days and weeks to come.
Now it would like to hear from members of the public who have ideas on how to help save the Lido, and/or would like to join SALT in developing and pursuing its ideas.
Anyone interested in getting involved should contact SALT by phone on 01905 775087, by writing to 34 Ombersley Road, Droitwich Spa, WR9 8JE, or by e-mail to DROITSALT @aol.com
