TELEVISION personality Philip Serrell, from The Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt, will act as auctioneer at a fund-raising event in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice Appeal.
The auction has been organised by Worcester Nomads Cricket Club and some of the money raised will go towards the club's future development. They recently bought some land next to their ground to extend it.
"We just want to progress through the leagues and to make that step we need to develop the club," said Andy Leach, from the club, which is based in Bransford and plays in Midlands South Division Two.
He added that raising money for Acorns was the choice of Mr Serrell, who is a former Worcester Royal Grammar School pupil.
The auction is taking place at Worcestershire County Cricket Club's New Road Cricket Suite on Friday, March 11, from 8pm.
Around 60 items are up for auction, including six months' gym membership, a weekend fishing trip on the River Teme, numerous sporting memorabilia and tickets for WCCC, WRFC and Worcester races.
