A SPIRITUALIST who was branded a "witch" by Worcestershire residents has won a regular slot on a Sky TV programme - and is also promised a Hollywood career.
Julie Angel-Guest, of Old Wych Road, Malvern, was accused of witchcraft when she organised a charity night in aid of Droitwich Girl Guides.
But now she is set to prove her talents to millions of people through appearances on the show Psychics Interactive.
The programme, which is aired on the Game Network every weekday from 12.30-4pm, invites viewers to phone in for readings about their future, or to make contact with the dead.
And as if TV stardom was not enough, Julie has also been told she is to play a part in the launch of the new American version of the production, which will be filmed in Hollywood.
The 32-year-old former policewoman was delighted with the announcements - even though she admitted she had not seen them coming.
"I can't do my own readings, so it was a complete surprise," she said.
"I am so excited by everything - if someone had told me a year ago I would be appearing on TV and going to Hollywood, I would have laughed, but that is exactly what I am doing."
Julie won her slot on the show by making an accurate prediction for one of the presenters.
She said the woman would write a book and would be responsible for the launch of the US version. Both of these things have come true.
Julie first started to see ghosts at the age of four. But it wasn't for another 23 years that she made contact with the dead in the way she does now.
"Two very close relatives of mine died and afterwards I received messages from them," she said.
"Now I am devoted to proving to others that there is life after death. This new contract will enable me to reach more people than I ever dreamed I could."
