MAPPLEBOROUGH Green teenager Tom Lewis went from saving goals to scoring them and has inspired his team to become the Coventry under 15 League Champions.

Lewis, who played in goal at Redditch United's youth team last season switched positions to play in front of goal when he moved to his new club Racing Club Warwick and the switch has worked as he is the league's top scorer this season with 36 goals.

Racing Club Warwick under 15s has still one game to play in the league but after not losing a game all season have strolled to the championship with a record of played 17, won 16, drawn 1, lost 0, goals for 92, goals against 19.

Lewis' team are also through to the semi-final of both cups and are waiting to find out who their next opponents are.

n Studley Juniors under 12 A beat Glebe Farm 4-1 with goals coming from Harry Sharpe (2), Nathan Hurley and Danny Blake who also picked up the man of the match.

n Studley Juniors under 12A lost to Chelmsley Town 3-2. John Mutton and Nathan Hurley grabbed the goals for Studley and Harvey Parker was man of the match.

n Studley Juniors under 12s entertained Solihull Scorpions and won 3-2. Harry Bedford grabbed two and Daniel Carr was also on the scoresheet. Man of the match Josh Cashmore.

n Studley Juniors under 8s beat Chelmsley Town 2-1. Goalscorers were Ryan Sterling and Thomas Daccus and Thomas Harman was man of the match.

n Littleton Colts were 4-1 winners over Inkberrow Eagles under 11s.

Will French gave the Eagles a third minute lead but the Colts fired home four before the final whistle.

n Headless Cross Harriers under 7s beat Callowbrook Swifts after extra time. The game was 2-2 in normal time. Goalscorers were D Print, S Palmer (2) and G Tolley (2).

n In the Mid-Warwickshire League under 10s division two Alcester Athletic drew with Alveston 1-1. Louis Tinklin grabbed the goal. In the under 15s division one Leamington Juniors beat Alcester Athletic 7-2 Robert Preston got both the Alcester goals.

In division two Kenilworth Wardens Colts beat Alvechurch 3-1 and Anthony Smalley scored the only Alvechurch goal.

n Redditch United Girls under 9s clinched a place in the Mercian League Cup Final after beating Wribbenhall Wasps 3-1.

Katie Edwards opened the scoring before Hannah Northall made it 2-0.

Redditch then conceded a penalty to give Wribbenhall hope but Edwards calmly slotted home to take the pressure off.

n Aston Villa Girls beat Redditch United Girls under 10s Gems 6-1. Danielle Bennett got Redditch's goal.

n Coventry City Girls managed a 3-2 win over Redditch United Girls under 10s Belles.

n It was six of the best from Redditch United Girls under 11s as they whipped Alvechurch Lions under 12s 6-0.

Four goals from player of the match Georgia Wood and one a piece from Sarah Badger and Gemma Taylor was enough.

n Redditch United Girls under 12s were undone by Coventry City Girls 2-1.

n Redditch United Girls under 13s drew with Belgrave Bullets under 14s 1-1. Amie Savva gained the point for Redditch.
