EVESHAM Cricket Club has signed formal Club-School Agree-ments with Prince Henry's and Evesham High Schools.
The agreements are aimed at further development of links between the schools and the club, with the development of coaching in and after-school using qualified coaches from the Birmingham League club.
"The club already has good relationships with all the schools in Evesham and our coaches have been working with them previous summers," said club secretary Dr Bob Shaw.
"These formal agreements, however, add further benefit to all and open up more opportunities for youngsters to develop their skills. We intend to follow up this deal by approaching Middle Schools and First Schools in the town in the hope of agreeing something similar."
Meanwhile, indoor nets and coaching for youngsters aged eight to 16 is on-going at Prince Hen-ry's on Thursday evenings bet-ween 6 and 7pm.
