EVESHAM welcomed Camp Hill to Avon Street last Sunday for an Under-9s fixture.
The coaches decided to play two games and an evenly matched opener saw both sets of players produce some fluid rugby.
Player of the match Ashley Charlton carried the ball well making good yards before passing to Matthew Camp who couldn't hang on in the cold conditions.
However, good handing was the key to Camp Hill's deciding score after which the hosts kept up the pressure with good runs from Joe Beirns, Sam Waller and Mike Harris.
Adam Johnson had a huge game with excellent rucking and mauling throughout the 30 minutes in which the two sides were so evenly matched that the single score proved the difference.
The second game brought on some of Camp Hill's younger players and Evesham did likewise when again it turned out to be an evenly matched contest.
The visitors scored early but Evesham retaliated with a fine try from captain James Thomas.
Player of the match Alex Tarplee then went on to score four impressive tries, while Kieran Sherwood added two more to complete a fine victory.
