A COLD sunny day greeted Bredon Under-12s squad on their visit to face Cheltenham Tigers in Bishops Cleeve.
A closely contested opener saw the two club's B teams unable to break through in what was a far from boring scoreless contest.
A mixture of A and B players then teamed up to face Stow who took an early lead.
Bredon came back strongly and levelled with a try by forward Will Gra-ulich only for Stow to respond with a further try before half-time.
Stow added another in the second half to seal a 15-5 success.
In what was expected to be one of the closest matches of the day, both Cheltenham and Bredon A teams put in a good display of attacking and defensive rugby.
There was no score at half-time but the home side's impressive rucking gave them the edge and two tries signalled defeat for the visitors.
Bredon went ahead in the first half of the final match against Painswick with a try from Scott Bunch.
Improved tackling and rucking allowed Bredon to score in the second half through Graulich to secure a 10-0 triumph.
