THE Kingfisher Shopping Centre proudly announced the first set of winners in its Customer Service Awards for 2005.
The accolades, handed out quarterly, went to Waterstones, O2 and The Perfume Shop - all for their particular attention to improving and maintaining high levels of customer service in the centre.
The awards began last year and encourage stores to produce high levels of customer satisfaction, with a focus on stores assisting and providing shoppers with whatever they need at all times.
It is only given to those stores that get positive feedback from customers at the Kingfisher Centre.
Centre director Ian McLelland said: "It is our duty as a shopping centre to provide our customers with the best possible service. "Shopping is a relaxing and stress-free pas-time and good customer service ensures it remains this way.
"This is precisely what Waterstones, O2 and The Perfume Shop offer their customers - a pleasurable shopping experience with great customer support services."
