FOUR players reached their retirement score as Dumbleton rattled up a mammoth 134-5 against Overbury in the latest round of action in the Worcester Board Indoor League.
Boorman and Churchman smashed 57 off the first five overs before Piesse made a welcome return to action with 25 in only four overs.
Things get any better for Overbury when last man Hulse came to the wicket as he amassed a quickfire 25 before returning to heap more misery on a beleaguered Overbury attack.
A desire to get the scoreboard ticking over instantly led to the running out of Westmore in the first over of Overbury's reply before Haynes and Alex Munro took the reply to 65-1 with Boorman conceding 18 off his first over.
However, Churchman had the rarity of bowling a maiden over and even Boorman got in on the act late on to snap up two wickets to help his side record a 42-run success.
Temple Grafton lost all six wickets to run-outs in a 14-run reverse at the hands of The Boxmen.
The latter, though, were in all sorts of trouble when taking first knock with Morris and Holt both bowling an excellent line and length.
When they lost their fifth wicket with the total at 70, the Boxmen were down and out but opener Peter Green had other ideas and milked the bowling for a further 37 runs before he was run-out for a splendid 64 leaving Temple Grafton to score 108 for victory.
Powell was run-out in the opening over of the reply but Kirk and Goonawardene took the score along at a safe pace to 47 at halfway.
However, the Boxmen proved that good fielding will always cause problems and, with John Lawrence ringing the changes, the inexperienced chasers found the pressure too much and they ended their reply on 93-6.
Fixtures for Tuesday: Dumble-ton v Boxmen (8pm), Temple Grafton v Ashton (9).
This year's Tornado Trophy will take place at The Worce-stershire Cricket Centre on Sunday, April 3.
