THE "prolific" antisocial behaviour of two Church Hill men has resulted in injunctions being served by Redditch Council and a warning that more will follow if others persist in causing trouble.

The council sought the antisocial behaviour injunctions against Lee Fisher, aged 18, of Exhall Close and Christopher Checkley, aged 20, formerly of the same close, at Redditch County Court in December.

The men are forbidden from threatening people or causing a nuisance to anyone in Exhall Close or Barnwood Close.

Residents complained of large gatherings of troublesome youths in the closes and identified the two men as "prolific" in causing noisy disturbances and interfering with the peace and comfort of people there.

Christopher Checkley has already been back before the court for breaching the terms of his injunction and was sentenced to a two-month custodial sentence suspended for a year.

The injunctions run until January 2006 and a breach could result in a prison sentence of up to two years, or unlimited fine for contempt of court.
