A BIDFORD man was airlifted to Redditch's Alexandra Hospital after a head-on collision between two vehicles on an icy road in Temple Grafton.
Fire-fighters had to cut the 40-year-old man out of his black VW Passat after the car and a green Land Rover Discovery collided in Croft Lane on Tuesday, February 22.
The road was closed between the A46 and Croft Lane for most of the morning until it had been gritted.
The man suffered neck and back injuries in the incident, which happened at 8.45am.
The driver of the other car, who was travelling towards Temple Grafton, was uninjured in the accident.
