THE Duke of Gloucester will tour restored cathedral buildings and meet Muslim community leaders later this week.
On Thursday, after planting a silver birch tree at St Richard's Hospice on Rose Hill, Worcester, and seeing plans for the new care facilities, the Duke will meet the experts responsible for the refurbishment of the Chapter House.
He will also meet Worcester Cathedral's archaeologist, Chris Guy, who dealt with excavations beneath the chapter house.
Afterwards, the Duke will meet Worcester's Mayor, Allah Ditta.
Later, pupils from Dyson Perrins Church of England School in Malvern will treat the Duke to a performance of classical Asian dance at the Guildhall.
