A MAN was hit and wrestled to the ground in Hopwood before his attacker made off with his bag.
The man had left Bridge Garage in Redditch Road and was walking into Ash Lane when he was approached at about 2.10pm last Wednesday.
After the scuffle, the offender made off with the bag, which contained large amounts of cash, leaving the victim shaken and with minor injuries.
He then got into a waiting black hatchback car, which police believe was driven by a second person, on the A441 towards Birmingham.
The offender is described as a black man, aged from late 30s to early 40s and between 6 ft and 6 ft 2 ins tall with a large build.
He had short black hair and was wearing a grey or green fleece and blue jeans.
Bromsgrove police have spoken to witnesses but are urging anyone else with information to contact them on 08457 444 888 or Crimestoppers number anonymously on 0800 555 111.
