THERE have been more ins and outs at Redditch Arrows than the hokey-cokey this close season.

After their unbelievable unbeaten season last year in the South Western Division Two the Arrows are eager to go again.

Their first game on Sunday, April 10 against Oxford will see them under a new leadership as Roger Smithies takes over from Ian Hill as head coach.

Defensive co-ordinator Errol Perkins has also left the club as has running back Tony Perkins who is pursuing glory with the GB team after being picked for the Lions at the European Championships last year.

Club stalwart and chairman Bob Burns has also stepped down and Chris Halford has been appointed in his place.

Halford said: "The Arrows would like to thank Bob, Ian, Errol and Tony for their contributions and we wish them well for the future."

Another new signing is physiotherapist Anneka Farrugia (pictured) who will be hoping to keep the Arrows fit for another gruelling season.

Halford added: "We are looking forward to the coming season but we don't want to rest on our laurels and are always on the lookout for talent that can help us on and off the pitch."
