KNOCKOUT action took centre stage in the Stratford and District Alliance last weekend when a quartet of clubs made progress in four separate competitions.
Jon Guest and Jim Bunn found the net while an own goal also helped Quinton defeat Southam 3-1 to book a place in the Edwards of Stratford Cup final.
Gareth Hodgetts banged in a treble as Dog and Pheasant easily overcame Blockley Sports in the Division Three League Cup, while Sam Churchly led the way with a brace as Henley won 5-1 in the Nursing Home Cup at Badsey United.
There were seven goals at Shipston where visitors Studley Nags Head scored four times in their extra-time success helped by two goals from Tony Egan.
The solitary Journal Division One clash provided seven goals with Badsey Rangers scoring six of them against Stratford Spartak with Ricky Dore landing a double.
Eight players scored twice in Herald Division Two with six of them on the winning side.
Carl McKenzie and Adam Freeth were winners with Henley Reserves while Rich Craig's brace wasn't enough to help Broadway avoid a 4-3 reverse.
Neal Haines netted twice for Bidford as did Wayne Cox and Lee Styler for Alcester Lions and Littleton's Karl Scott. Neil Dudfield of Tysoe United was the second non-winner but his side's 2-2 at Badsey United earned the visitors their first point of the campaign.
The afternoon's leading individual aces provided the scoring touch in Cutler Division Three.
Andy Brooker banged in a hat-trick as Kenilworth Town, helped by two from Simon MIles, won 5-2 at winless Welford. Matching that treble tally was Trevor Towler in Halfords second string's 4-0 at Bidford.
Littleton were unable to raise a team for Tuesday's Division Two League Cup semi-final against Broadway who will now face Studley Nags Head in the final.
