BROADWAY United clinched promotion to Division One of the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League with a hard-earned win over Defford/Besford United.

Phil Milward's side had previously been the reserve team until this season and the majority of his players have achieved their third promotion in four years.

Annis, Buckland and Dyke scored for Broadway with the visitors replying through Warren and Lawson.

Champions Peopleton won at Lower Moor United with Baxter hitting a treble. Mountinneers hit double figures against Badsey Rec with Rowlands (three) and Ellis (two) on target.

Pebworth, bottom of Division Three, scored four goals for the first time this season. Unfortunately, opponents Moreton Town scored seven with Darren Balhatchet hitting a treble.

Crowle defeated Queens for the second successive week, thanks to a Hatchett treble, and Ashton won at Wickhamford with goals from Baker, White and Gregg.

George FC won at champions Pinvin United to move closer to clinching promotion from Division Four and Lenches Lions closed their first season with victory over Riverside with goals from White and Stanley.

Cidermill produced an excellent performance to end Bell United's promotion hopes. Doubles from Attwood and Scott led the way.

Moreton Wanderers put pressure on their title rivals in Division One with victory over Upton Snodsbury. Lee Oxley (three) and Matt Winters (two) kept Wanderers on target for a league and cup double, while Willersey signed off life in Division One with a win at Inkberrow. Duncan Beale, Rob Hands and James Hands scored the goals with the home side replying through a Fitt effort and an own goal.

Evesham WMC defeated Offenham Rovers with goals from Harris, Thomas, Sutherland and Hemming.

Bredon reached the Tewkesbury Sports Knockout Cup final for the second time with a five-goal defeat of Norgren. All the goals came in the second-half from Gallagher, Christian, Morris, Lucking and Franklin.
