PREPARE yourselves for loads of lycra clad wannabes as all-sing-all-dancing musical Fame comes to the Birmingham Hippodrome between April 18 and 23.

Based on the Academy Award winning movie, which defined the 1980s, the show charts the highs and lows of students at New York's famous High School of Performing Arts.

The hit show, which stars singer Barbara Dickinson as the English teacher, has already been watched by 3.5 million people since starting in London's West End seven years ago.
