CHARITIES and groups will be exploiting their French connections at Alcester's street market this summer.
The town's 32nd annual market takes place on Sunday, June 12, and with organisers planning a French feel for the event, organisations taking part are being urged to add some ooh-la-la to their stalls and costumes.
The market is held to raise cash for the High Bailiff's Charity Fund and stallholders donate about half of their takings to the cause.
Prizes are awarded for the best fancy dress and stalls depicting a theme as well as a window competition for local shops.
Any groups wishing to take part in this year's event should call market chairman Mike Clark on 01789 765192.
Stalls cost £10, including a £5 returnable deposit, and closing date for bookings is April 18.
