A FAMILY fun day at Aggborough provided the Kidderminster Harriers squad and their supporters with a welcome distraction from the club's relegation fight.
The League Two battlers threw open their doors on Monday, with more than 300 fans taking the opportunity to rub shoulders with the Harriers' players and management.
Boss, Stuart Watkiss, put his team through their paces with an open training session in front of supporters and younger fans were then given the opportunity to take to the field to test their ball skills with fitness coach, Bob Ashwood, and the players.
Team members, including captain Wayne Hatswell and midfielders, Dean Keates and Tom Bennett, took a break from the pressure of Kidderminster's survival scrap to pose for photographs and sign autographs for fans.
A road safety roadshow also stopped by to give advice to youngsters.
Media manager, Steve Thomas, said: "It was a great day for all involved. You could see how much it meant to the kids being allowed to play on the pitch at Aggborough and also having a kick around with the players they support on a Saturday.
"The players sincerely appreciated their support and we hope to organise another event like this later on in the year."
