LENT LUNCHES: As a result of the series of Lent lunches held at the home of Penny and Peter Burch, £543 has been sent to Christian Aid towards the Darfur Famine Relief Programme. All the helpers - soup makers - and those who attended were thanked for their support.

VILLAGE HALL: The next meeting of the management committee will be at the village hall on Wednesday, April 13 at 7.30pm in the Jubilee Room.

COFFEE MORNING: A coffee morning in aid of the Willersey Footlights May show will be held at the village hall on Saturday, April 23 at 10.30am. Any offers of help on the day and contributions for the stalls and raffle are invited. Inquiries Mal Jelfs 858351 or Maurice Andrews 858448.

METHODIST CHURCH: Coffee is served every Friday in the Church Room between 10am and 11.30am. Fair Trade goods are on sale then and whenever the church is open. All are welcome.

Bible Study takes place every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the Church Room.

MUNCH BUNCH LUNCH: The regular lunches are proving successful and the next will be on Wednesday, April 20 at 12.30pm. Anyone who would like a meal should contact Elizabeth Ingles on 853400.

WEDNESDAY CLUB: Arrangements are in hand for the day trip to Baddesley Clinton on Wednesday, May 18. Those members and friends interested should contact the chairman or secretary at the next meeting, April 20, when the speaker will be Mr Heath on the History of Old Evesham.

MOBILE LIBRARY: The April visits of the Gloucestershire Mobile Library will be on Tuesdays, April 12 and 26 calling at Collin Close, 2.40pm and the Bell Inn at 3.05pm.
