l Wyre Forest Golf Club ladies section saw Lin Pearson win the March Stabelford competition with 35 points ahead of Karen McIntyre, Val Bow and Doreen Hart.

l At Bewdley Pines, Steve Bird was the winner of the Junior Hobday Cup, beating off competition from Luke John and Adam Fincher.

The new positions are: Lady captain Sue Smart, vice captain and handicap secretary Jenny Andrews, honorary secretary Bett Middis, honorary treasurer Di Owen, competition secretary Lilieth Martin, friendly match captain and county rep Kath Chuter, Droitwich Inter League captain Hannah Whibley.
