STOURPORT Men's Hockey team's future could be decided this weekend when they play two of their remaining three Premier Two survival fixtures.
With four teams going down, Phil Lashford's men find themselves occupying the last of the relegations spots and are four points from safety.
They face Beeston away on Saturday, before playing host to Belper on Sunday, with their final fixture at Bath Buccanneers next weekend.
Stourport go into the crucial stage of the season on a low after losing to a last gasp goal to Old Georgians last Saturday.
After starting slowly and trailing 2-0 at the break following a couple of individual errors, influential midfielder Dave Westhead orchestrated their recovery.
With West head pulling the strings, Pete Gibbon reduced the deficit with a scrambled goal before Imran Yousaf grabbed an equaliser from a short corner.
But it was not meant to be and with a draw seemingly on the cards, Old Georgians pounced to nick a winner two minutes from time, reacting quickly when a short corner was saved.
"It will be a massive shame if we go down but we just haven't done well enough against the majority of teams," added skipper Lashford.
