TIME is running out for candidates hoping to be this year's Stourport Carnival queen.
Organisers of the event are also seeking entrants for the roles of princess and rosebud for the carnival, which takes place on Saturday, September 3.
The closing date for entry for the respective titles is next Thursday.
Judging will be carried out the following Sunday, April 17, at Stourport Manor Hotel, Hartlebury Road, Stourport.
Selection of the rosebud takes place at 12.30pm, followed by the princess at 2.30pm and queen at 6.30pm.
Queen candidates must live within a 10-mile radius of Stourport, while the princess and rosebud will need to live in the town.
Winners of each of the titles will win cash prizes and be given dresses to wear while carrying out their carnival duties, including the carnival parade. They get to keep the dresses afterwards.
Applications can be submitted to the carnival's press officer, Pete Roberts, at Pete's Prints, in Bridge Street, Stourport.
Further information is available from Mr Roberts on 01299 826930.
