UPPER Arley continue to set the pace in the Wyre Forest Parish Games after adding a crib victory to their earlier dominoes success. It was run over a round robin format with Upper Arley finishing ahead of runners-up and hosts Wolverley and Cookley with Trimpley third and Stone fourth.
The next event is a short mat bowls competition at Gilt Edge Leisure Centre on Wednesday April 13, starting at 6.30pm.
Parish placings so far: Upper Arley 20 points, Kidderminster Foreign (Trimpley) 17, Wolverley and Cookley 15, Stone 12, Churchill and Blakedown 8. Bewdley and Stourport yet to start.
