KIDDERMNISTER and Stourport Athletics Club's senior ladies A team stole the show at the Midlands Road Relays at Sutton Park.
They qualified for the national event to be held over the same three-mile course in three weeks' time by finishing 18th overall.
The ladies B team also gave a good account of themselves, ending up 29th out of 49 teams.
While the ladies race is split into six individual stages, the men's event is run over 12 stages.
The men completed the 12 laps in four hours and 34 minutes.
The highlight was an impressive return to action for Neil Williams who ran the fastest short leg, four years after suffering an asthma attack on the same course, while the Piersen brothers also performed well after filling in at the last minute.

Club member David Hunt, continued his preparations for the London Marathon with an excellent result in the Ironbridge Half Marathon.
Hunt completed the hilly course in one hour, 30 minutes and five seconds to finish just outside the top 10 of Male Vet 40 competitors. He was 39th overall from a field of 534 runners.
Also competing for the club, were Martin Wilmott (1-37-51), David Vale (1-40-49), Graham Amer (1-43-44), David Carter (1-51-44), Mary Fletcher (1-58-26) and Mick Hudson (2-03-33).
