WORKMEN are changing the entrance at Tesco in Evesham following complaints from customers about traffic congestion.
Work began this week on altering the way cars enter and exit the store in Worcester Road.
It is expected to last four to five weeks.
The alterations, which are intended to ease the flow of traffic in and out of the store's petrol station, come only months after the new layout was put in place last November.
Store manager Kevin Wright said: "We are changing the layout of the entrance and exits to make it easier for customers.
"This is in response to customer feedback. There had been general unhappiness caused by the layout and we are taking the opportunity to respond quickly."
The alterations include road widening and the introduction of a roundabout so customers no longer have to cross the slip road to get out of the petrol station.
"Cars won't back up on the forecourt and it will be safer to get on to the slip road," said Mr Wright.
