ST John's Sports Centre was the scene of 13 events in the Worcester League's Senior Championships over 10 hours of table tennis.
With the absence of Dave Harvey and Bill Dawe, dominant for the past five years, the men's singles was wide open.
It was played up to the semi-finals and will be completed at finals night on Saturday, April 23, at Christopher Whitehead School.
Mark Fiddian will play Dave White, runner-up last year, in the last four and Chris Hewitt faces Mike Harvey, with the son of Dave Harvey playing in the competition for the first time.
The ladies' singles final will be between Janet Hunt and Beryl Shammon and the veterans singles pits together Dave De Souza and John Stalker.
The men's doubles final will see Fiddian and Hewitt take on White and Wayne Chopping but all other events were played to a conclusion.
The final of the intermediate singles resulted in a win for Mike Harvey over Robert Hodges in three straight games.
The veterans' doubles was won by Darkie Reynolds and Dave Watton who beat Stalker and Stuart Richardson over five sets.
Fiddian and Hunt took the mixed doubles, beating Dave Williams and his daughter Emma in three sets.
And the ladies' doubles saw Shammon and Emma Williams beat Hunt and Gemma Russell in four sets.
De Souza won the Division Two title, defeating Dave Williams after losing the first two sets, while the Division Three and Four event was won by Stalker against Phil Houghton.
Stalker was probably the most successful player of the day and was certainly the busiest, getting through 21 games in total.
He also won the veteran singles' handicap competition with victory over Shammon. The Tyler Cup attracted 32 entries and was won by Fiddian who beat Hewitt in three close games.
Both were off scratch and the games were 21-up. Fiddian won 23-21, 17-21, 22-20.
Another popular event was the charities' doubles with Division One and Two players drawn to play against Division Three and Four players.
Dave White and Chris Hughes beat Gary Jackson and Shammon in the final.
Presentation of all league and championship trophies will take place on the finals night.
