GOAL machine Phil Jones ensured Worcester Men's Fifths had a superb end to the hockey season by hitting a personal best five goals in their 6-3 victory over Kings Heath Pickwick.
The match marked the last game for captain Timothy Lamont-Smith, who is going to Japan.
Worcester trailed to an early goal before Jones equalised.
Numerous short corners followed but the hosts failed to break down a solid 'keeper.
Kings Heath bagged a breakaway goal only for Jones to level again. He also missed a short-range effort just before half-time.
Jones completed his hat-trick at the start of the second-half to put Worcester ahead for the first time, a lead short-lived as the visitors equalised for 3-3.
A change to Worcester's short-corner routine, taken by Kev Oliver, saw an effort heading out of play until Jones got the slightest of touches to edge the hosts back in front.
Ali Mackiken and sweeper John Ranscombe both went close before Jones bagged his fifth.
Sam Swimbourne, another prolific marksman in the campaign, got his seventh in three games to complete the rout.

D Harris netted a fine hat-trick as Worcester produced fine one-touch hockey.
Bell also scored twice, while Poole and Hares got one each.
Reg Sharratt was under little pressure in goal but let in a soft consolation towards the end.
n Josh White and Gregor McLeod both bagged braces as Badgers White defeated Gloucester 4-2 at home.
Worcester dominated with some excellent passing hockey.
McLeod opened the scoring with a searing drive from a penalty corner.
Despite several further opportunities, the youngsters were unable to add to the total before half-time.
White chipped in with a well-taken double and McLeod added a fourth before Gloucester replied with two breakaway goals.
n Badgers Red lost 2-1 at North Staffs in a closely fought encounter.
North Staffs were 1-0 up at half-time through some weak Worcester defending.
The second-half followed a similar pattern with Chris Kendall levelling the score from an excellent open-play move.
North Staffs got the winner late on after a poor defensive effort from the visitors.
Charlotte Roberts also had an effort disallowed for being too high from a short-corner shot.
