STOURBRIDGE florist and member of Bewdley Floral Art Club, Andrew Lloyd, was the demonstrator at the meeting on Monday, March 21.

The first arrangement held long stems of pussy willow looped to hold Longiflorum lilies, white gerbera, white tulips and viburnum. Egg shaped candles completed the Easter theme.

An arrangement of Columbian deep red roses, pink hyacinths and tulips, cerise anemone and curled aspidistra leaves were finished with sprays of pink feathers came next.

A tall vase filled with lemons was topped with an arrangement of bold foliage, lime green viburnum, anthuriums, moluccella , jade green roses and finished with two sprays of orchids.

Orange and peach was the colour theme for his next arrangement and it contained chincheree, broom, prima donna roses, tulips and bird of paradise flowers

Yellow lilies, double daffodils, and double tulips, fragrant mimosa and gerberas were encased in twisted willow decorated with porcelain eggs.

A double arrangement was the finale and held yellow tulips, cala lilies, illusion roses and mimosa. Purple flag irises and deep purple anemones provided the contrast and a dish of water holding muscari hyacinths and water lilies surrounded by rabbits and ducks was Mr Lloyd's definition of Easter.

A prize ticket of free entry for a member to introduce a friend was to be a regular feature and also the bring and buy stall.

Meetings are held at the Social Day Centre, New Street, at 7.30pm and the demonstrator on April 25 is Jayne Edmonds with "In tune with Nature". Members' competition is "A Song Title".

Tickets for the Victorian Afternoon to be held at the Areley Kings Village Hall at 2pm on Monday, May 23 will be available at this meeting. Joan Southerton is the demonstrator and tea will be provided by the committee.
