HAVING lived in Worcester overlooking Pitchcroft until the 1950s, I cannot see how your picture, of Worcester Infirmary (Monday, March 28) was taken from Pitchcroft.
These main gates and pillars stand on the side in which was Infirmary Walk. The tree on the left of the gates, was a beautiful mulberry with large fruit. The churches are All Saints and St Andrews.
I cannot place the Dome, maybe the Brotherhood. Opposite these gates was a row of almshouses and police station.
D DEARLOVE (MRS),
Pershore.
